Thinking It Through

I don't know why I am going.

I understand part of it, it's a desire to be noble, to keep promises to myself and others. Maybe holy is too high a word, I don't completely understand the concept. But a Sufjan Stevens concert under the shadow of the Eiffel Tower is as good a reason as any.

I'm not sure I need a reason, if I do I don't know what it is. Is it too much to expect change for the better merely by travelling? Can I expect a slight of clarity on the roads and rails of Europe?

Have you got your visa, vacinnations, virginity?

Now it's a wait for 26 hours of waiting and then Rome. Rome by Wednesday morning. Without a zack of Italian, a girl left behind wondering what I'm up to and nothing on my mind.
